My Practice

I am a professionally qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working on a one-to-one basis.

I have a degree in Integrative Relational Counselling from Middlesex University and I am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am in compliance with their ethical principles and guidelines (www.bacp.co.uk)

As an Integrative Relational Counsellor the relationship between us is important, this is the rock on which our work together is built. Building and establishing this is the key to my understanding of the world from your perspective.

Working in an Integrative manner allows me to draw on different approaches to counselling, this gives me a greater range of options with which to support you during our work together.

I offer an initial session in which I would be able to assess the support I can offer you, this is also a time for you to see if you feel it is right for you. Each session lasts for fifty minutes and I offer both short and long term therapy, short term is generally six or twelve sessions. This is something we could discuss and decide which you feel is best for you. This is flexible and short term can always be extended if we feel it would be of benefit to you.
